This is our third post on shopping apps in as many months. They're big news at the minute, especially for the nations supermarkets. Supermarket apps seem to be at the top of everyone's lists at the moment, with Waitrose and Tesco recently joining the race.
Rumour has it Asda are due to release an app of their own - which means the race is on!
The Tesco mobile app is available to Nokia Ovi Store users, while the Waitrose and Asda have opted for the iphone format.
So what do we think? The race is definately a good thing. Using an app or shopping for groceries online makes sense - you can beat the rush, shop at your leisure in the comfort of your home and get it delivered right to the door.
Who knows maybe we will be buying gift vouchers and gift cards through our mobiles someday too!
