Waitrose Price Match


Waitrose has launched a price-match promise, matching prices on 1000 products to rival supermarket chain Tesco.

The branded price-match includes well know branded staples such as Heinz baked beans and Persil washing powder.

Waitrose says the products matched will be the 1,000 most popular among its customers, with checks made twice a week to keep the pledge up to date.

In addition to the Essentials launch last year, the branded price-match is a commitment by the supermarket to 'bring the most delicious food at a fair price' to its customers.
